MAGGARD, Richard M. "Dick"
Age 64, of Montezuma, OH, passed away July 24, 2015 at the Dayton V.A. Hospice. He was born on January 15, 1951 to the late, Hugo and Evelyn Maggard.
He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Susan; son, Richard Dylan (Amy); 4 beautiful granddaughters, Zoe, Naomi, Sofia, and Hadley; brothers, Gary (Patti), Wayne (Debbie), Tim (Rich), Keith, and Robert (Donna); and numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and relatives.
Dick served in the United States Navy as a gunners mate. He was a Vietnam veteran, member of the American Legion, VFW, and The fraternal order of the Eagles. Dick was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend who will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, July 29, 2015 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Rd. Interment will take place at a later date at The Dayton National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to JDRF of Southwest Ohio.
