Richard M. Hagins

Richard M. Hagins, age 86, passed away Sunday, March 8th, 2015.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lois Jean Hagins. Richard is survived by his sister, Jan Ervin (Tom); step-children, Dale Perry (Deeann), Judy Perry, Joyce Gray (Allen) and Jenny Perry; many grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. Richard spent most of his life as a police officer and serving the community. He always felt like he was a member of the brotherhood of policemen.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, March 12, 2015 at 10am at the Dayton National Cemetery. The family will meet at Newcomer Funeral Home South Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439) at 9:15 am. We will leave in procession together at 9:40am.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Disabled Veterans Foundation.
