Richard Charles Leopold

Richard Charles "Rick" Leopold , age 69, of Beavercreek, passed away on October 31, 2022. He was born in Dayton, Ohio, on April 2, 1953, the son of the late Charles and Norma Leopold.

He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Ronald Leopold and Charlene Shanks; and brother-in-law, James Henson.

Rick is survived by his beloved wife of 34 years, Yvonne Leopold; children, Jason (Kelly) Leopold, Gary Ely, Eric (Jennifer) Leopold and Cynthia (April) Leopold; grandchildren, Tristin, Jayden, Kayla, Chailyn, Ryan, Cameron, Paul and Macy; sisters, Jean (Roger) Poindexter, Kay Henson and Dora (Glenn) Shaffer; sister-in-law, Delorise Leopold; brother-in-law, Gary Shanks; special friend, Monique Miller; and many other loving family and friends.

He retired from General Motors after 33 years of employment and later in life at Kroger for 13 years. In his free time, he enjoyed cheering on his dear Green Bay Packers (of whom he was a proud Owner), listening to music (especially the Blues) and making people laugh. Rick was a very loving soul and adored his children and grandchildren. His friends he met over the years also meant the world to him. Rick was truly devoted to those he knew and loved. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Visitation will be held from 12:00pm-1:00pm, on Tuesday, November 8, 2022, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, where Funeral Services will begin at 1:00pm. Burial will follow at Willow View Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Rick's memory to the Children's Charity of one's choice.
