Richard L. Lemons Jr., "Rick," age 64 of Dayton, passed away Thursday, March 11, 2021. He was born December 23, 1956 in Dayton, Ohio, the son of the late Richard and Jewel Lemons.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Lisa Lemons; and sister, Carol Lemons-Davis.
Rick is survived by his children, Nicole (Scott) Vest, Bryan (Chasity) Lemons, Brandon (Kayla) Lemons; grandchildren, Stephen, Ashlyn, MaKayla, AJ, Kaelen, Eva, Remi, Colton, Paisley, Ellie; sister, Joyce (Luck) Burgett; former wife and mother of his children, LaDonna (Steve) Shrout; step-children, Valerie Hilgefort, Carl Lataille Jr. and their children; as well as numerous other relatives and many friends.
Over the years, Rick worked for Kroger, SuperValue, Biggs and Remke Markets. He was an avid fisherman and loved camping.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 19, 2021 from 9:30 am to 10:30 am at Newcomer Kettering Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering, Ohio 45439). Funeral service will begin at 10:30 am. The State of Ohio is under a mandatory mask order and has required that face masks will be worn in all public places.
