BORNS, Richard Lee, age77, passed away on April 15, 2015. He was born on August 4, 1937 in Dayton, OH.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Rose in 1978 and mother, Martha in 1979.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Rick and Linda Borns; four step-children, Julie, Susan, Pat, and Sandra; and loves of his life, his grandchildren, Dylan and Jillian.
Dick was a Navy veteran. He was also an avid bowler who rolled multiple 300 games and 800 series. He also loved gardening, walking, riding his bike, shooting baskets, and making his famous home-made wine.
Dick will be cremated per his wishes. Special thanks to Sheila, Erin, and Kris at Lane Park for taking such good care of him. Also, special thanks to Hospice of Dayton for all of the help during the last month of his life. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers donations may be to the Alzheimer's Association.
