Richard Francis Kowalski

Richard Francis "Ski" Kowalski, age 79, of Huber Heights, passed away on January 15, 2022, at his residence with his loving family by his side. He was born in Providence, Rhode Island, on February 8, 1942, the son of the late Frank and Mabel Kowalski.

He was preceded in death by his parents; significant other, Carol Fisher; and former wife, Judith Kowalski.

Richard is survived by his loving son, Robert Kowalski; grandchildren, Cory and Ryen Kowalski, Jordan Raynor, LaShonda Adkins, Katrina Adkins, Richard Adkins, Cassandra Adkins and Miranda Adkins; great grandchildren, Phoebe and Briella Raynor; sister, Marilyn (Bill) Mathers; and many other loving family and friends.

Richard retired from Wright Patterson AFB, where he was an Air Craft Mechanic for 20 years. He served his country proudly by serving in the United States Air Force. He was a member of the AmVets for many years. In his free time, he enjoyed woodworking, shooting pool , setting off fireworks, cooking/grilling and making fires at Hickory Hills Lake.

Graveside Services will be held on Friday, February 18, 2022, at 11:00am, at Dayton National Cemetery, 4400 West Third St., Dayton, OH 45428. Please meet at "Assembly Area B", 10 minutes prior to graveside service time.
