Richard Dean "Dick" Knisley, 86, of New Carlisle, OH, passed away June 1, 2017. Dick was born in Dayton, Ohio on September 26, 1930 to Kenneth and Goldie (Walls) Knisley.
Dick retired from Brinkman Tool and Die in Dayton. He was a member of Wegerzen Flying Club, where he flew remote controlled model planes. He loved to golf and worked at the Cliffside Golf Course as a grounds ranger. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by three sons, John K. (Virginia) Knisley, Clifford O. (Sherry) Knisley and Robert A. (John) Knisley; three daughters, Janet D. Hufford, Christine M. Evers and Patricia L. Bunch; a stepson, Michael (Aubrey) Cook; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; three brothers, Bud (Nola) Knisley, Robert W. Knisley and Gene (Joyce) Knisley; other nieces and nephews; and loving friends, Richard Dean and Joan Overman. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his first wife, Garnet Knisley.
A memorial service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
