Richard James Fullaway, age 65, of Paintersville, passed away Monday, April 7, 2008. He was born in Oklahoma City, OK. on August 25, 1942. He served his country in the United States Navy. Richard retired from WPAFB after over 30 years. He was a life member of the VFW Post #8312 and a member of the Vietnam Veterans Chapter 930. Richard was a member of the Mt. Zion Church, Beavercreek OH. He was a member of the Beavercreek and Greene County Historical Society. He was preceded in death by his parents John and Hazel Fullaway; brother Bernard Fullaway of AR.; father-in-law Clyde Smith; and sister-in-law Sadie Fullaway. Richard is survived by his wife of 28 years, Pat Fullaway; brother Harold Fullaway; mother-in-law Margaret Goldshot; step father-in-law Robert Goldshot; sister-in-law Carol Fullaway of AR., sisters-in-law Berniece Marshall and Sharon Wendling; brothers-in-law John Marshall and Steve Wendling; nieces; nephews; and friends. The family will receive friends Friday, April 11, 2008 from 5-8pm at Newcomer Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel. The funeral service will be held Saturday, April 12, 2008 at 11:00 am with a one hour prior visitation at Mt. Zion Church (S. Fairfield Rd. Beavercreek, OH.) Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Shoup Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation in Richard's name.
