Richard J. Hartman

HARTMAN, Richard J., age 88, passed away Wednesday, August 1, 2007. He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Gladys Hartman; in-laws, Fred and Garnet Cook, and granddaughter, Marcy Rose Hartman. Richard is survived by his wife of 43 years, Janice; children, Ann (Jim) Blickensderfer of Dayton, Jim (Diane) Hartman of CO, Kip (Lisa) Hartman of Miamisburg, Mark (Patty) Hartman of New Carlisle; 16 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; brother, Ben (Mary) Hartman of Seattle; sister, Kathleen (Tony) Mastronuzzi of Cleveland, along with numerous relatives and friends. Richard was a WWII veteran having served in the Army Air Corp. He was a master wood carver and retired from GM after 17 years of service. Richard passed away peacefully with his family by his side at Hospice of Dayton after a brief illness. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton in Richard's name. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Saturday, August 4, 2007 at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek.
