Richard J. Arnold

ARNOLD, Richard J., 89, of Beavercreek, passed away Friday, October 26, 2012. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, graduated from New Richmond High School, married, and was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He was employed and retired from Western & Southern Life, where he was a District Manager in Columbus for 30 years. He is preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Edith, and his sister, Ida. He is survived by his son, Gordon (Margaret) Arnold; granddaughters Megan (Kraig) Neer of Dayton and Sarah (Seph) Coster of Alrington, VA; grandson David Arnold of Denver, CO; grandsons Kaleb and Blake Neer; sister Dorothy Rosemire; and brother William Arnold. Family and friends may call 1-2 p.m. on Thursday at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek, where a celebration of life service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday.
