Richard Humphrey

Richard "Shawn" Humphrey, age 43, of Dayton, passed away on March 22, 2021. He was born in Dayton, Ohio, on April 3, 1977, the son of Richard Humphrey and Anna Humphrey Brown.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Monroe & Lorena Kincer; uncles, Kenneth Kincer, Ronald Kincer and Randall Kincer; and cousin, Lorena Kincer.

Shawn is survived by his loving mother, Anna (Robert) Brown; father, Richard (Linda) Humphrey; children, Samantha Knuckles, Jordan Humphrey and Bryce Humphrey; siblings, Billy Tyler, Icy Hopkins and Brandy Madden; and many other loving family and friends.

Shawn had been employed with Hardee's for many years. In his free time, he loved to cheer on his Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cincinnati Bengals and play his guitar. Shawn loved his family and friends and will be greatly missed by them all.

Visitation will be held from 3:00pm-4:00pm, on Saturday, April 3, 2021, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, where services will begin at 4:00pm.
