Richard Hilliard, Jr.

Richard Hilliard, Jr., age 70 of Dayton, passed away February 12, 2021. He was born in Jefferson County, Alabama on October 7,1950 to Annie Price and Richard Hilliard, Sr. He attended Chilton County Training School, Job Corps and then enlisted in the United States Army. Brother Hilliard moved to Dayton, Ohio in 2000 and made his membership at Mt. Olivet Church of God in Christ under the leadership of Emeritus Pastor Ozell Northern. Elder Terry Holt is the current pastor of Mt Olivet.

He was loved by everyone. He had an heart of gold and would do anything for anyone.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, James Price; and sister, Lovie Regina Hilliard.

Those remaining to cherish his memories are his loving and devoted wife, Antoinette Hilliard, Dayton, Ohio; children: Sylvester and Connie Hilliard, Marbury, Alabama; Janice Hilliard and Demetrius, Marbury, Alabama; Carla Hilliard, Marbury, Alabama; Richard Hilliard, Jr. and Rashad, of Georgia; Alexica Wright, Clanton, Alabama; stepchildren, Shameca Preston & Leonard McIntyre, both of Dayton, Ohio; brothers, Elder Kenneth (Semuel) Hilliard, Dayton, Ohio;Willie (Carolyn) Hilliard, Winston Salem, North Carolina; Cedric (Nancy) Price, Columbus, Georgia; Kristopher (Tamara) Price, Winston Salem, North Carolina; sisters, Winifred Diane Barbour, Huntsville, Alabama and Perola Ray, Clanton, Alabama; sister-in-law, Sheree Price, Thorsby, Alabama; aunt, Alma Holyfield, Verbena, Alabama; and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family and friends including special godparents: Elder Ernest & Jerry Letlow.
