Richard Harrison Duckson I

Richard H. Duckson I, age 72, of Dayton, passed away Sunday, August 2, 2009. Richard served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He retired from the U.S. Post Office after 36 years. Richard is survived by his wife, Karen Duckson; the mother of his children, Patsy Duckson; children, Richard H. Duckson and his wife Deborah; Mark D. Duckson and the mother of his children Sun Myong and Carrie A. Jenkins and her husband Paul; step-children; Ashley Conrad and his wife Cindy, Richard Conrad and his companion Tina and Ann Conrad and her companion Rod; grandchildren, Jennifer, Matthew, Jessica, Meghan, Stephanie and Kristina; and many other friends and relatives. The family will receive friends Thursday, August, 6, 2009 from 5-7 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home Kettering Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439). The service will be held Friday, August 7, 2009 at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Bearcreek Cemetery.
