Richard Grisso

GRISSO, Richard G., age 88 of West Carrollton, passed away peacefully on January 7, 2016. Richard was born in Medway to the late Otto and Sarah Grisso. Richard proudly served in the United States Navy during WWII on the USS Chimo in the Pacific Theater. He worked for many years for the City of Dayton in a supervisor role. In addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Grisso and step-father, Dallas Shipley. Richard leaves behind to cherish his memory, daughters, Tonya (John) Golden and Jan (Frank) Schindler; grandchildren, Jonathan, Matthew, Denise, Brett, and Caleb; great-grandchildren, Carter, Myles, Shelbi, Anne, Aiden, and Brogan; and many other loving relatives and friends. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 12 at 2:00pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - Kettering, with a visitation one hour prior (1:00-2:00pm). Burial to follow at Medway Cemetery.
