Richard C. Frost "Dick", age 72 of Springboro, Ohio passed away peacefully at his home with his family by his side on March 18, 2022. He was born March 14, 1950, on Staten Island, NY to the late Albert Sr. and Muriel (Eiss) Frost. In addition to his parents, Dick was preceded in death by his brother, Albert John Frost, Jr. "Jack".
He is survived by his devoted wife of 50 years, Kathleen (Doyle) Frost; loving daughters and sons-in-law, Kristina (Rich) Rutherford, Emily (Matt) Mahonski and Virginia (Nick) Hensley; cherished grandchildren, Paige, Joshua, Christian, Lilian, London, and Grey; sister, Sheri (David) Hoy; two best furry pals, Otto and Fritz and numerous extended family and dear friends.
Dick graduated from Governor Livingston High School, Berkeley Heights, NJ and attended Kentucky Wesleyan College, Owensboro, KY. He graduated from Penn State University, State College, PA. He was the owner/President of Frost Construction, Inc., Williamsport, PA.
Captain Dick loved being out on his boat, "The Frosty Girl" fishing and crabbing. In addition, he loved boogie boarding on Long Beach Island, New Jersey and OBX, North Carolina. He and Kathi enjoyed travelling with their close friends, John & Carol, especially out west and to the Finger Lakes for wine tasting.
The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to Ohio's Hospice of Dayton for all the care and compassion that they showed, not only to Dick, but to the family during his final weeks. They feel truly blessed to have had their assistance.
A Mass of Christian Burial will. begin at 10:00 AM on Saturday, May 7, 2022, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 9579 Yankee Rd., Springboro, Ohio 45066 with Fr. Jim Manning, Celebrant.
