Richard F. Schnippel, Sr.

Richard F. Schnippel, Sr., age 81 of Union, passed away April 14, 2015.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy Schnippel, daughter, Kim (Jack) Holtel; son, Richard F. Jr. (Margaret) Schnippel; grandchildren, Rochelle, Mercedes, Erica, Mary and Michael; great-grandchildren, Trevor, Isabella and Ayden; sisters, Lynn, Robin and Pam; brother, Norbert and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Richard served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He worked for Goodyear Tire & Rubber for 28 years before taking early retirement. Richard came out of retirement to purchase a Goodyear Franchise in Englewood. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, playing bridge and most of all spending time with his family. Richard was well known for his quick wit and sense of humor.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
