Richard E. Newland

NEWLAND, Richard, age 71, passed away Friday, June 13, 2008 at home. He is preceded in death by his parents, Merle and Elda Newland; sister, Maxine Buehler, and brother, Ernest Newland. Richard is survived by his wife of 41 years, Evelyn Newland; children, Thomas (Cindy) Newland, Angela (Robert) Ringuet, Rick (Gina) King, Bruce King, and Lynda Swank; sister, Pauline Wynn; 3 granddaughters, 6 grandsons, 3 great grandsons, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was a lifetime member of the VFW, Amvets, and F.O.E. Funeral services will be held at 10:00am Wednesday, June 18, 2008 at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton. Family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00pm on Tuesday, June 17, 2008 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
