Richard David Meixell

Richard David Meixell, age 86 of Dayton, reunited with his wife, Madonna A. (Bellmyer) Meixell on November 17, 2015. He was born May 1, 1929 in Philadelphia, PA to the late Harold E. and Anna R. (Keihner) Meixell. In addition to Richard's wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his niece, Sue Bellmyer.
He is survived by his son, David (Robyn) Meixell; daughter, Marlene (Bob) Risney; grandchildren, Brent Risney and Scott Risney; nieces and nephews, Christine Tydings, Jimmy Bellmyer, Pat Bellmyer and Steve Homan.
Richard served his country in the U.S. Air Force and volunteered for 24 years at WPAFB Museum. He worked as a draftsman with General Motors. Richard enjoyed building model airplanes, gardening, camping and sailing.
He is survived by his son, David (Robyn) Meixell; daughter, Marlene (Bob) Risney; grandchildren, Brent Risney and Scott Risney; nieces and nephews, Christine Tydings, Jimmy Bellmyer, Pat Bellmyer and Steve Homan.
