Richard Cunningham

Richard Cunningham “Rick”, age 76 of Dayton, passed away Sunday, September 8, 2024. He was born March 9, 1948 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Robert and Geraldine Cunningham.

Rick is survived by his daughter, Sara (Jeff) Tomme; son, Douglass (Stacie) Cunningham; four grandchildren, Brooke, Jared, Carlin, and Cooper; sister, Deborah Ross; brother, Byron Cunningham. He is also survived by numerous family and friends.

Rick graduated from Belmont High School and owned Angi’s restaurant. He loved traveling to Las Vegas and watching movies. Rick was well loved and will be deeply missed. 

The family hopes those who would like to honor him will find a quiet time to remember who he was in your life and be thankful for the time you had together. In lieu of a public funeral service, individual families are encouraged to have their own private memorial.
