Richard Cretens

Cretens, Richard C., age 68, of Iron Mountain, MI, passed away on Wednesday, February 07, 2007 at Grandview Hospital in Dayton, OH. He was born September 24, 1938 in Escanaba, MI, the son of Edmund & Althea Agnes (Davis) Cretens. He was the owner of Delta Sanitation of Escanaba, MI, and retired in 1997. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Donald Cretens, brother-in-law, Pete Champeau. Survivors include his wife of six years, Janice (Smeltzer-Spade) Cretens of Iron Mountain, MI; daughters, Jeane (Fred) Kossow of Rock, MI, Tina Fletcher of New Orleans; step-sons, Dennis Spade of Florence & Allen (Angie) Spade of Iron Mountain; step-daughter, Jerri (Kelly) Applin of Norway, MI; grandchildren, Patrick Kossow, Richard Kossow, Heather (Dave) Lund, Amber Fletcher, Lisa (Derek) Williamson, Joe Spade, Tony (Monica) Spade, Dylan Spade, Victoria Spade, Ashley Spade; 6 great grandchildren; sisters, Janice Champeau of Iron Mountain & Marilyn (Raymond) Brunette of Hyde, MI., and several nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed by his friends and family. Memorial services will be held in the spring.
