Richard Pierce Circle, age 89, passed away peacefully in the early morning on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at Heartland of Centerville nursing home.
He was born on November 23, 1928 in Springfield, Ohio to Carol Circle and Charlotte (White) Circle. In his life Richard gained a great passion for art, a love for God, and was a talented and respected businessman. Those who knew and loved him would say he was a "Rock" and that he imparted great wisdom and comfort to family, friends and anyone who needed it. One of his favorite places to travel to were the Smokey Mts., which he thought of as piece of heaven on earth. On September 4, 1948 he married the love of his life Dorothy Jean Borders.
He is survived by his wife Dorothy, loving daughters Claudia Circle Biel and Cindy Circle McGrew, grandsons Matthew McGrew, Samuel (Stacey) McGrew and Justin Biel and great-granddaughter McKenna McGrew as well as many nieces and nephews.
There will be a celebration of life when his ashes are brought home to rest with family.
