BROCKMAN, Richard M. "Dick" age 82 of Kettering, passed away Saturday, July 15, 2006. He is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Janet Brockman, his children Debra Williams, Robin Brockman, Rick and wife Kathy, all of Dayton, Scott and wife Mary, Mark and wife JoAnn, both of FL and Tara Henderson of Dayton, Cinda and husband Terry Harris of Franklin, Pam Blevins, Melody Schoonover, both of Dayton, Rick and wife Angel Schoonover of CO, Richard and wife Shiela Henz of Xenia; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; brother George Brockman of Dayton; sister Ruby Moan of AR; and a host of other relatives and friends. Richard was a very proud WWII Army veteran. He was part owner and operator of William Brockman's and Sons Heating and Air Conditioning. He created and operated the Brockman Speed Shop. After retiring from ownership, he spent four years at Dorothy Lane Market taking care of all the home deliveries. He was a member of the Purple Heart Club, AMVETS Post 24 and the American Legion. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, July 19, 2006 at Newcomer Funeral Home 3940 Kettering Blvd., with Pastor Jerry Carter officiating.
