Richard Andsharon Funk

FUNK, Richard Lee, age 67 passed away on June 13, 2013.
His wife, Sharon Lee Funk, passed away the previous month, on May 14, 2013.
Their combined memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM, on Monday, June 17, 2013 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Beavercreek, OH. Visitation will be an hour prior to the memorial service (3-4:00 PM).
Richard had been in the marines during Vietnam, and later worked at GM and Delphi. Sharon worked at NCR and Delphi. Richard loved to fish, hunt, and watch Hot Rods. Sharon loved cats and the outdoors, enjoying camping time with the family.
They were married for nearly 50 years before they both became ill. Richard was preceded in death by his parents: Harold & Grace (Morris) Funk, and Sharon was preceded in death by her father Floyd Hild.
Sharon is survived by her mother and step-father, Janet (West) & Charles Davis. Richard and Sharon are survived by their loving sons: William (& Colette) Funk and Bradley Funk.
