LANG, Richard Allen and Ila Fay
Ila, age 75 passed away Tuesday, October 18, 2005. Richard, age 84 passed away Thursday, October 20, 2005. Richard and Ila were of Fairborn and were married for 32 years. Ila is survived by her children, Nancy (Jim) Barnhart, Jack Fuller, Jeff Workman, Larry (Donna) Workman, Wally Workman, and Ronald Workman; brother, Paul (Mildred) Jones; sister-in-law, Magdalene Jones; 14 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilbur and Etta M. Jones; sister, Freda Northern; and brother, Weldon Jones. Richard is survived by his daughters, Becky George and Wanda (Richard) Penewit; brothers, Harold (Mary) Lang and Bob (Iris) Lang; 4 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bert and Hazel Lang; brother, Burton Lang; and grandson, Nicholas George. Richard served our country in the United States Army Air Corps during World War II. He retired from W. H. Kiefaber Co. Ila retired from Greene County as a Social Worker. They both were members of Wright View Church of the Nazarene. He enjoyed being in the choir and was a board member. She enjoyed teaching Sunday school. Family will receive friends 1:00-3:00 p.m. Sunday, October 23, 2005 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Rome Cemetery, Proctorville, Ohio. Pastor Vernon Hurles will officiate.
