King, Richard A., Sr.
age 81 of Dayton, passed away Tuesday, January 16, 2007 at Hospice of Dayton. Richard was born August 16, 1925 in Dayton, OH, the son of John J. and Bertha E. King. He proudly served our country in the United States Navy during World War II. Richard was a graduate of Wilbur Wright H.S. class of 1943. He retired after 36 years of service from Dayton Press formerly McCall Corporation. Richard is survived by his wife of 47 years, Theresa King; children, Richard A. Jr. (Kimberly) of Centerville, Thomas S. of Dayton, Mary T., and Kathleen M. King of Dayton; grandchildren, Jordan A and Tyler J. King; and sister-in-law, Loretta Roach of Dayton. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Robert E. and Raymond J.; and sister, Dorothy Grady. Family will receive friends 1:00-4:00 p.m. Sunday, January 21, 2007 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 411 East Second Street, Dayton. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
