Ricardo Clyff Valdez

Ricardo Clyff "Rick" Valdez, age 50, of Fairborn, passed away on January 13, 2022. He was born in Queens, New York, on September 23, 1971, to Rhona Noel and Cuthbert Glenn Valdez.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Joyce Marshall.

Ricardo is survived by his loving mother, Rhona Y. Noel; G-Wife, Tonya Samuels; son, Kaleb Valdez; daughter, Brianna Gilson; siblings, Adrian (Amanda) Grant and Vaughan Jackson; step-father, Daniel Grant; aunt, Janice Noel Archer; uncle, Dennis (Theresa) Marshall; cousins, Jieutonne Jansen Archer, Jeanelle Archer-Chan and Jeuelle Noelle Archer; dear friends, Dave Zimmerman and Richie Winegardner; and many other loving nieces, nephews, family and friends (many of which are in Trinidad and Tobago).

He served his country proudly by serving in the United States Navy, stationed on the USS Theodore Roosevelt, and received an Honorable discharge. In his free time, he enjoyed remote control cars, planes, drones and tending to his garden. Ricardo had a very curious mind, always taking things apart and putting them back together. He also had an affinity for doing all types of puzzles. Ricardo loved to be in the outdoors and catching all types of animals. Some knew him as "Nature". He had an adventurous spirit. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Visitation will be held from 2:00pm-4:00pm, on Saturday, January 29, 2022, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, where Funeral Services will begin at 4pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in her honor towards funeral expenses
