Rhonda Sue Thobe

Rhonda Sue Thobe, age 60, of Kettering, OH passed away peacefully on October 22, 2022. Rhonda was born June 27, 1962, in Monticello, IN to Charles and Marilyn (Applegate) Rowland.

Rhonda worked as a nurse for Miami Valley Hospital for 9 years. Previous to that he spent most of her career as a manager for Bob Evans. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. If she was not spending time with family you would most likely find her at work. She also enjoyed camping, country music and speedwalking. She will be very missed by all that knew her.

Rhonda is survived by her children Chris (Rachel) Thobe and daughter Ashley (Juan) Salazar; grandchildren Maddox, Paxton, Ariel, Rhys, Emersyn, Violet, Gloria and Calyn; parents Charles and Marilyn Rowland; siblings Sandy Ackley, Shawn (Marshall) Scroggy, Chuck (Donna) Rowland and Shannon (Zach) Henline; numerous nieces and nephews; as well as many other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband Steve Thobe.

Public visitation will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd) on Wednesday November 2, 2022 at 11:00 am with funeral service to follow at 12:00 pm. She will be laid to rest next to her husband at Woodland Cemetery in Dayton.
