Rhonda Crigler, a radiant spirit who illuminated the lives of all who knew her, passed away on January 22, 2025, in Columbus, Ohio. Born on August 15, 1967, in Memphis, Tennessee, Rhonda was the embodiment of joy and warmth, a woman whose laughter echoed in every room and whose heart welcomed everyone without reservation.
A devoted wife to her loving husband, David Crigler, for an enriching 32 years, Rhonda shared a deep and abiding love that many aspire to emulate. Together, they built a lifetime of cherished memories, embracing adventures and nurturing their vibrant family life. Rhonda took immense pride in her roles as a mother and grandmother. She is survived by her son, Troy Crigler, her beloved grandchildren, Olivia and Gabriella Crigler and her brother, Steve Warren. Each moment spent with her family was a treasure, filled with love and laughter, and her legacy continues in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her.
Rhonda's passions extended beyond her family. A true lover of the outdoors, she found joy in gardening, where the beauty of nature perfectly mirrored her own exuberant spirit. Her adventurous soul thrived in travel and vacations, where she often created moments of magic with friends and family alike. Additionally, she was a proud member of the North Dayton Angler's, where her laughter and enthusiasm contributed to the camaraderie of fellow members.
Despite the sorrow of her passing, we remember Rhonda as a beacon of positivity and friendship. Her infectious spirit and ability to 'never know a stranger' brought countless individuals together. As we reflect on her life, we honor not only the person she was but also the love she fostered in her dynamic family network and the gifts of happiness she shared with friends.
Rhonda is predeceased by her parents, Janet and Stuart Warren, and her son, Austin Crigler, both of whom would be proud to see the foundation of love she built in their absence. Though she is no longer with us, her light will continue to shine brightly in the memories held dear by her surviving loved ones. She will be deeply missed but forever cherished in our hearts.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Humane Society of Greater Dayton.
