MCCORMICK, Rhea E., age 83, of Huber Heights, passed away Friday, July 29, 2011 at Hospice of Dayton.
Rhea is survived by four children, Curtis (Deanna) McCormick, Sheila (Don) Myers, Layne (Cheryl) McCormick and Leasa (Bill) Begley; two sisters, Ila Beichler and Sylsie Reeves; two brothers, Olan Rose and George Rose; ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; and by her extended family and many dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Doyal McCormick; one sister, Cecie Ridner; and both parents, James and Lydia Rose.
Rhea, a loving wife, mother and homemaker, also was a member of the Huber Heights Church of God where she was a former Sunday School teacher. She was employed by Sunshine Biscuits and the Kettering School System as a cook.
Pastor Cameron Marler officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Englewood, Ohio.
The family suggests that contributions be made in memory of Rhea to Hospice of Dayton.
