Rex Frye

Rex Allen Frye, age 50 of Middletown, Ohio went to be with the Lord on Monday, July 9, 2012 at his home. Rex was a resident at Graceworks Enhanced Living Curtis Home where he lived for 5 years. Rex was born on August 27, 1961 in Huber Heights, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Frye Haynes; step-father, John "Jack" Haynes (who Rex considered his father); brother, Jack Frye and sister, Jill Finnell.

He is survived by brothers and sisters: David Haynes, Judy Haynes, Roxanne Wolfrumn, Sally Day, Susan Haynes and John Haynes; dear friend, Anna Kender; and many loving caregivers and friends at Curtis Home.

Rex was loved by all of his family at Curtis Home and throughout Graceworks. He loved all of his staff and his boys at Curtis. Whenever you came in he always gave you a hug and had to have one before you left. Rex was also a true Ohio State Buckeye fan; everything he wore and owned had to have Buckeyes on it or he would not wear it. Rex always wanted to see how his team was doing and would ask everyone he saw about them.

Visitation will be held from 5-7 pm on Thursday, July 12, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road. A graveside service and burial will take place on Friday at 10:00 am at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.
