Age 83, of Riverside, went to be with the Lord, Friday, August 3, 2007, at her home. She was born in Manchester, Kentucky to the late George & Bertha Owens. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one sister, Mittie Mullins and one brother, Wade Owens.
She retired from Kettering Hospital, served in the U. S. Army, loved gospel music and being with her family.
Survivors include her husband of the past 61 years, Delwin Day; children, Barbara (Hal) Patton, Michael (Carol) Day, Larry (Kathy) Day, Valerie Gail (Bill) Baker, Dwain (Rana) Day; grandchildren, Daron, Shaunda, Gary, Jimmy, Stacey, Brandon, Laura & Ryan; great grandchildren, Hannah, Katie, Robbie, Brooklyn & Aaron; sisters & brothers, Donna Gray, Pat (Gary) Beiser, Red Owens & Dallas (Dottie) Owens; a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
The family will be receiving friends from 1 – 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 8, at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, with funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Interment Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, contributions should be made in memory of Reva to the Dayton Area Diabetes Association.
