Rev. William B. Wilson
Age 85, of Dayton, passed away Wednesday, September 17, 2008, at his home.
Pastor Bill is survived by his wife of the past 26 years, Hazel E. Wilson; one son and daughter-in-law, Ricky & Kathy Wilson; six grandchildren, Ricky Jr, Timothy, Lisa, Crissy, Adriananne & Amanda; and by five great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Virginia Wilson and by his son, Billie Jr and one infant son.
Pastor Bill retired as a minister of the Lord with over 62 years of service. For the past 20 years he served as assistant pastor at Cornerstone Baptist Temple. During WW II he served in the U. S. Navy.
Funeral services will be held at 6:00 p.m., Sunday (9/21) at Cornerstone Baptist Temple, 1707 Ohmer Ave, Dayton, Ohio 45410. The family will be receiving friends at the church from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. Sunday. Graveside committal services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Akron, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers contributions should be made in memory of Pastor Bill to the Cornerstone Baptist Temple Mission Fund. Newcomer, North Dayton Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
