NOLTE, Rev. Howard E., age 87, passed away Saturday, October 22, 2011. He was born February 16, 1924 in Dayton, Ohio.
Rev. Nolte was a Lutheran minister. During his ministry he served at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Dillsboro, IN, Israel Lutheran in Paris, OH, Peace Lutheran in Arnheim, OH, Christ Lutheran in Struthers, OH, and was currently a member of Peace Lutheran in Beavercreek, Ohio.
Rev. Nolte enjoyed bowling and fishing.
He is survived by three daughters, Shirley (Lynn) Clapper, Barbara (Paul) Hertlein and Nancy Fleming; grandchildren, Mark (Tara) Clapper, Ann (Charles) Ferrell, Tricia Dearwester, John ( Ahira) Howard Hertlein, Andy Hertlein, Matthew Fleming and Sean Fleming; great-grandchildren, Leah, Dylan, Jasmine, Michael, Lilie, Kalab, Aubrey, Morgan and Lily.
Rev. Nolte was preceded in death by his wife, Fay Nolte; parents, Carl and Beatrice Nolte; brother, Robert Nolte; and sister, Betty Jean Nolte.
Burial will follow in Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. If desired, donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
