Rev. Gailalbert Poynter

POYNTER, Rev. Gail A., age 83, passed away Friday, June 27, 2008 at Heartland of Miamisburg. Beloved son of the late Jewell and Elizabeth (Gaal) Poynter, nephew of the late Marion Gaal, dearest brother of the late Richard Poynter (Grace), uncle of Gayle, Ronald, Richard, and Annette, cousin of the late William Quinn, 2nd cousin to Catherine, Julia, Mardel, Marilyn, and Virginia, dear friend to many. During his 57 years of Priesthood he touched the lives of many people including those at St. Agnes Parish, Dayton, Catholic Central High School, Dayton, the Catholic School Office, Holy Angels Parish, Dayton, and Mary Help of Christians Parish, Fairborn. Reception of the Body will be held at 9:30am Wednesday, July 2, 2008 at Our Lady of Good Hope Church, Miamisburg, followed by visitation. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00am at the church. Interment at Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Vincent Hotel.
