Relisa Sabrina Allen

Relisa Sabrina Allen was called home on the early morning of January 19, 2016 at Miami Valley South Hospital in Centerville, OH. She was 46 years young. She was born in New York City on June 30, 1969 to Elaine and Marvin (Chico) Mendez. Relisa was the second oldest of five siblings: Dr. Derrick Lamont Darby, Ayo Mandisha Mendez, Jumoke Samuel Mendez, and Rkvia Shavon Mendez.

Relisa married the love of her life, Tony Carnell Allen, on July 2, 1988.
At the tender age of 16, Relisa was called by God to carry the torch of giving hope, joy, peace, and most of all love, to touch the lives of those who God put in her path. She displayed this gift in her profession as a Certified Nursing Assistant and all throughout the rest of her life. She ran her race knowing, living, and often saying that "Only God can unscramble an egg!" She is survived by her loving husband of 27 years, her grateful children David A. Thomas, Talya Alexandra Flowers, Sabrina Latisha Allen, Jalessa Kayla Reddick Mayo, Chelsea Nicole Allen, and Quendale Reddick. She is preceded in death by her mother, Elaine Hess Mendez.
