Reis J. Pearson, July 22, 1971 to July 21, 2017. Reis was born in Pontiac, MI and raised in Cliffside Park, NJ. He was a long time resident of Kettering. Reis will be lovingly remembered by his mother, Susan Hall, his beloved daughter Kayla Grace, and her mother, and Reis' loving partner Lauri Wurst, and her son Dylan and her mother Diane Wurst, and by countless friends. Among those friends are his best friend Kristy Cole and her sons Brandon and Alec, and Julie Gianni, Nicole de Waal, and Marsha Tumblison. Reis is also survived by his father Gary Pearson, his half-brother Dylan Pearson, and was predeceased by his half-sister, Courtney Pearson.
Reis touched many lives with his compassionate spirit, his sense of humor, his love of animals, baseball, and his gift for playing Scrabble. He was an army veteran who served his country honorably from 1990 to 1993. He will live on through his music as he was a talented guitarist, pianist, singer, and composer.
Friends and family are invited to attend a Memorial service on Saturday, July 29th at the Shelter Church, 1441 East Dorothy Lane, Kettering, OH 45429. The Church will be open at 11:00 A.M. with a memorial service at 12:00 noon. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Brigid's Path, 3601 S. Dixie Drive, Kettering Ohio 45439 or a charity of your choice in Reis' honor.
