STONER, Regina Kane, age 92, was welcomed into her heavenly home on Saturday, June 20, 2009. Regina was born in Atlantic City, New Jersey on October 02, 1916, to David J. and Clara R. (Schor) Kane, where the boardwalk, convention center, amusement piers and her beloved ocean were her backyard. At nine, with her late brothers, David and John, they were the fifth family on the island of Brigantine, New Jersey. She was an honor student and later a legal secretary. She was an elegant tall lady, who wore hats, heels, gloves and suits. Regina had an operatic singing voice and was an accomplished pianist. She met her husband, the (late) Arthur E. Stoner, of the Coast Guard, at a skating rink. They rode an Indian motorcycle from New Jersey to California, before he studied engineering at Ohio State. Later of Beavercreek, she was the mother of six children, Joseph (and Aquila), Christopher, Carol, Peter (dec'd.) Paul, and James. Visitation is FRIDAY, June 26, 2009, 5 to 8 P.M., Newcomer Funeral Home, Beavercreek. Mass of Christian Burial is SATURDAY, 10:00 A.M.at St. Luke's Catholic Church. Graveside service at Calvary Cemetery, followed by a luncheon at Kramer Hall at St. Luke's.
