Regina "Gina" Moore Jones, age 59, formerly of New Carlisle, passed away Friday, June 2, 2023. She was a graduate of Miami East High School in 1981 and attended Springfield Nursing College prior to attending Grace Bible College in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Regina's talents were many. She formerly owned a salon, Regina and Co., where she empowered women through beauty and conversation. After this, she worked alongside Dr. Terry Henley, and became President of Cost Recovery Corporation. She was an advocate for public safety, serving Police and Fire departments across the nation. She then founded her own company, R. Moore Solutions, where she continued to be recognized on a national level for her advocacy of Safety Services. Through this time, she had made countless educational presentations to city councils and public hearings all over the United States including Washington DC.
Regina was a loving wife, daughter, aunt, and proud mother to her five children. She supported her husband and children in all their endeavors. She flourished when she saw the whole family laughing together. Her laugh and bright, beaming smile were contagious. She adored her husband, her children, and her mother more than anything in this world. Family and Faith were everything to her.
Regina was a member of the Ginghamsburg Church choir. She was passionate about her love for Jesus and enjoyed worshiping through song. She loved music, whether singing at home, Amazing Grace for memorial services of friends and family, or the National Anthem at Police and Fire conventions.
Regina is survived by her husband of 17 years Charles Arben Jones II, her five children: Landon Jones, Logan Jones, Lana Jones, Lydia Jones, and Lila Jones; her mother Patricia Moore, her brother Ryan (Deena) Moore, many other nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends.
She was preceded in death by her father Gary Moore.
Regina's Celebration of Life will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home on Needmore Road in Dayton, Ohio. Visitation will begin at 12:30PM with a ceremony officiated by Pastor Michael Bowie to follow at 1:30PM on June 9, 2023.
