Regina "Gina" Vanderpool

Regina "Gina" Vanderpool, age 57 of McConnelsville, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on January 13, 2025. She was born February 26, 1967 in Dayton, Ohio daughter of the late Elmer Vanderpool and Patricia Hicks. 

Gina was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Her pride and joy was her family and she loved spending as much time with them as she could. She enjoyed helping those around her that would be in need even when she needed the help herself. Gina will be greatly missed by all who had the honor of knowing her. 

In addition to her parents, Gina was preceded in death by her brother, Augustus Vanderpool; and infant sister, Norma Jean Vanderpool.

Gina is survived by her children, Aericka Cruz, Patrick Vanderpool-Reed, Xavier Kovaleski, and Gabriela Kovaleski; grandchildren, Courtney Burgess, Hani'ah Jones, Jayden Reed, Ke'jour Reed, Hasaan Jones, Eniah Reed, and Patrick Reed Jr.; siblings, Gregory Vanderpool, Kimberly Price, Douglas (Brenda) Vanderpool, Terri (Michael) Hart, Elizabeth Vanderpool, and Eugene Vanderpool; nieces and nephews, Jason (Rachel) Vanderpool, Jessica (Eric) Bouldin, Kasi Lehman, Kayleigh Vanderpool, Kyleigh Vanderpool, Ashley Vanderpool and Douglas Kyle Vanderpool, as well as several other nieces and nephews; as well as numerous other family members and friends.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
