HUGHES, Reese
age 79 of Dayton, passed away Saturday, October 22, 2005 at Kettering Memorial Hospital. Reese was born March 2, 1926 in Frenchburg, KY, the son of Clay and Mary Hughes. He retired from Rike's department store as a truck driver. Reese is survived by his sons, Neal and fiancé, Kathy and Mickey and fiancé, Zana; sister, Ora Lovley; grandsons, Rubin and fiancé, Beth, Dustin, and Dylan Hughes; special friend, Edith Turpin; and numerous nieces and nephews, and many friends at Lakewood Apartments. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Diane Hughes; sisters, Carma Daulton, Edna Blaylock, and Dorothy Mehl; and brothers, William "Arbie" and Raymond Hughes. Family will receive friends 5:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 26, 2005 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
