Reda Naomi Webb

Webb, Reda Naomi, age 77, of Kettering, passed away on Monday, May 11, 2009. Reda was a 1950 graduate of Franklin High School where she was awarded the inaugural Katherine Riley Award for her achievements in both athletics and leadership. Reda was voted Ms. Softball Ohio in 1954 and traveled all across the country playing softball including many of the NCR championship teams. Reda worked for over 27 years at NCR and retired from Vernay Laboratories with over 20 years of service. Reda is survived by her sister: Imogene (Johnny) Weisenberger; sisters-in-law: Dorothy Webb & Jeanie Webb; and numerous nieces, nephews, very special friends and caregivers. She was preceded in death by her parents: Henry & Julia (Simpson) Webb; 9 brothers and sisters; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, May 15, 2009. Interment will follow the service at Miami Valley Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 5:00 – 8:00 P.M.
