Rebecca (Becky) Walker (Trissel) age 70 of Lebanon, Ohio passed away suddenly on July 10,2022. Becky was an avid outdoors lover, including camping, hiking and flying ultralights. She was known for her amazing cooking talents with no recipes, making copying them impossible. We believe that was on purpose. She was known for always having a frozen casserole to give anyone at anytime and cooking for a small army. She enjoyed and was so proud of taking care of others throughout her nursing career at Kettering Medial Center. She was a fierce advocate for her fellow nurses and patients. She loved her husband and her family with her whole heart, as well as her beautiful fur babies Splash and Evy. Becky's love of animals was known to anyone that knew her.
Becky was preceded in death by her mother Julia Hollinger Thorpe, her father Kenneth L. Trissel II. and her brother Kenneth L. Trissel III. She loved and missed them all dearly and is now reunited with them for eternity. She is survived and will be immensely missed by her husband Gerald "Tom" Walker, her daughter Amy (Doug) Pierce, her "other daughter" Katie (Brett) McKinney, her granddaughter Danielle Thomson and grandsons Nicholas Pierce, Declan and Gareth McKinney, her brother Dave (Mary Ellen) Trissel, sister-in-law Ruth Trissel, nephews Brian (Susan) Trissel and Wes Trissel, very special great nieces Aubrey and Alice among other family members and friends that felt like family. The family would also like to give a special thanks to Julie Sanders and Craig (Katie) Sanders for being the best neighbors on the planet.
A grave site service is planned for August 19th to include family from out of town and will be located at Arlington Cemetery in Brookville, Ohio details to follow. In lieu of flowers please donate to ALS Association 1300 Wilson Blvd Suite 600 Arlington, VA 22209 or Ohio's Hospice 324 Wilmington Ave, Dayton, Ohio 45420
