Rebecca Schneider

Rebecca Haller Schneider, age 66 of Kettering, passed away June 29, 2014. She was born November 14, 1947 in Ashland, KY to the late Richard and Reba Haller.

Becky is survived by her husband of nearly 46 years, Dave Schneider; children: Holly (Bruce) Armes and Daniel (Jessica Newton) Schneider; grandchildren: Hayley (Vinnie) Moore and Cole (Kailey Blevins) Schneider; and mother-in-law, Betty Long.

Becky retired from the City of Kettering as a Safety Supervisor in 2006. She was currently working for Weight Watchers International and was an owner of D.A.R.E. Automotive Specialists, Inc. She was a member of Kettering Mother's Singers; was the praise and worship leader for The River Church; and was the choir director for 3rd Street Baptist Church for many years.

Visitation will be held from 6-8 pm on Sunday, July 6, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd, where the funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Monday. Pastor Pete Hood officiating. Burial to follow at Miami Valley Memory Gardens.
