Rebecca J. Reeder

Rebecca J. Reeder, age 81 of Dayton, passed away Wednesday, January 15, 2025 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born December 17, 1943 in Dayton, Ohio, the daughter of the late Charles and Marie Herby.

Rebecca enjoyed needlework, singing and spending time with her dogs. She also enjoyed dining out with family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, George Burl Reeder, Jr. and son, Brian Scott Mullins.

Rebecca is survived by her sons, Scott Mullins and Keith Mullins; step children, Dawn Domstrand and John (Kim) Reeder; and siblings, Ruth Slane, David (Susan) Herby and Mark (Vicky) Herby. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may given to The Alzheimer's Association or Hillside Chapel in Rebecca's honor.

Visitation will be Thursday, January 23, 2024 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Hillside Chapel (3515 Shakertown Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45430). Rebecca will be laid to rest privately at Dayton National Cemetery.
