Rebecca A Leckrone, age 73, of Miamisburg, passed away October 25, 2016 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born August 21, 1943 in Dayton, Ohio the daughter of Fred and Helen (McConnaughey) Reese.
She is preceded in death by her father, Fred Reese; husband, Lester Leckrone and sister Saundra Preston.
Rebecca retired from the Springboro City Schools, loved playing Bingo and antiquing.
Rebecca is survived by her mother, Helen Reese; two sons, Lester James (Sarah) Leckrone, Michael Tufts; daughter, Jennifer (Johnny) Tackett; grandchildren Jessica, Ethan, Lucas and Emilia; as well as many nieces and nephews and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 31, 2016 at 11:00 am at Newcomer Funeral Home - South Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering, Ohio 45439). The family will receive friends on Monday from 9-11:00 am at the funeral home. Interment will follow in the Koontz Cemetery, Jamestown, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
