Rebecca Lynn Lawson

Rebecca Lynn “Becky” Lawson nee Rowles, age 65, passed away on August 19, 2024. She was born in Fort Knox, Kentucky on August 14, 1959 to the late Richard Rowles Sr. and Helen Harshbarger. In addition to her parents, Becky was preceded in death by brother Richard Rowles Jr.

Becky is survived by her daughter Samantha Lawson; son Nicholas (Britney Hans) Lawson; brother Tracy Rowles; sisters Cindy (John Pope) Goff, Sandy Rowles; grandchildren Jackson and Novalee; sister in law Brenda Short; nieces and nephews Benjamin, Tasha, Christopher, Carey, Michael, and Adam; and numerous great nieces and nephews. 

Becky had various occupations throughout the years including Cub Foods, and the VFW post 3438 in West Carrollton. She had recently retired from Kroger in Centerville after 10 years. She graduated from Valley View High School in the class of 1977. In her younger years, Becky loved being on the farm working with horses and enjoyed being outdoors. Everyone appreciated her free spirit and loving nature. Becky never met a stranger and made friends everywhere she went. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her and she will continue to live on through their cherished memories and stories.
