Becky, as her friends and family called her, was an individual of strong passion and feelings. She dedicated all of herself to whatever she was involved in at the time, whether it be her TV soaps, her quest for a specific outfit with, of course, a matching purse and shoes, but more importantly with her family friends, church and God.
Oh how she loved her God, church, friends and family. No one could ever speak a negative word about family and/or friends except for maybe Mom, who was known for speaking it as she saw it at that moment and time. But of course if anyone else spoke negatively they were revoked with such passion that they were quickly looking for a way out.
The holidays were a special time for her, she loved the holidays because it brought all her favorites together; her friends, family and church. She treasured her grandchildren and great grandchildren with all of her being and was always interested in their lives and how they were doing even up to her last days. She was so proud of her grandchildren and their accomplishments.
Kelly and Robert's four beautiful children and marriage of 12 years, Mark and Melyssa's marriage and demanding medical careers and of Samantha's stellar academic achievements. Becky always wanted a daughter she even had girl names pick out before she gave birth to her son, boy was she surprised. Her daughter-in-law quickly became her daughter and a trusted confidant and the resident medical advisor - no one knew more. She always wanted Robin's advice about all heath issues and of course purses and shoes.
And then came her husband, Bill "Mr. Wonderful" as he so named himself, boy did she have fun with that one…. There was no one that she believed in or loved more than her husband. She was his biggest cheerleader and fan. There was nothing that her man could not do.
Becky and Bill were married for 58 years and were wed on Oct 23, 1954 and they were together every moment up to the last one….
God has gained one more beautiful and passionate soul in Heaven…. We will miss you Mom more then you'll ever know…..
