Rebecca "Becky" Marie Coleman, age 58, of Centerville passed away on April 2, 2021 at The Ohio State University Medical Center from Covid-19. She was born in Dayton, Ohio on April 2, 1963. She was preceded in death by her Father Edwin Monnin and Mother Joy (Streib) Monnin; her beloved pet, Kobi.
Becky worked ten years at the University of Dayton and fifteen years at The Oakwood Club. She loved to travel and spend time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her loving husband of twenty-six years, Kenneth Coleman. Sons, Brandon Coleman and Joshua Coleman. Daughter, Kelsey Coleman. Brothers, Randy Monnin, Tom Monnin and Mike Monnin. Mother and Father In-law, Marilyn Coleman and Gary Coleman. Brother In-law Gary (Amy) Coleman, Sister In-laws, Debbie (Geoff) Merrick and Diane Coleman Drake. Her God-Father Gary Monnin and God-Mother Nancy Streib along with numerous Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and Nephews. Finally, her two dogs Max and Zeke.
Family will receive guests from 4-8 PM on Sunday, April 11, 2021 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Centerville Chapel, 820 Miamisburg-Centerville Rd., Dayton, 45459. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11 AM on Monday, April 12, 2021 at Church of the Incarnation, 7415 Far Hills Ave., Centerville, OH 45459, with Fr. Patrick Sloneker, Celebrant. Interment will follow the Mass at Miami Valley Memory Gardens, Centerville, OH.
