In 1972, Rebecca married Richard Lee Hoffman in a double wedding ceremony with her twin sister, Elizabeth, and Robert Baird in Athens, Ohio. In 1981, Rebecca began her career as a Medical Technologist at Miami Valley Hospital. She later married the late Harold "Harry" A. Berry. Rebecca continued her career as a Medical Technologist working at the Dayton VA Medical Center until her retirement in 2015.

Rebecca was an avid reader, enjoyed baking for family gatherings, and crafting cards for holidays and birthdays. She was a college football fanatic and favored the Ohio University Bobcats and The Ohio State University Buckeyes. Rebecca will be deeply missed and forever loved by those who knew her.
