Rebecca "Becky" Elizabeth Baker, 65, of New Carlisle, OH went home to be with the Lord on April 27, 2017 at Hospice of Dayton. Becky was born in Piqua, Ohio on May 24, 1951 to Richard and Flora (Wooley) Jones. She married Lawrence "Larry" Baker on June 28, 1971 in Piqua, Ohio.
Becky was a daycare provider for many years, loved to play cards, enjoyed cooking and watching TV, especially TBN. She loved telling the story of how her and Larry met, how he asked her to marry him on the first date and she said yes on the second date. She loved all of her family dearly, who she always put first before herself, and will be greatly missed by all.
Becky is survived by three daughters, Angela Cromwell, Heather (Wayne) Millard and Alicia (Billy) Dixon; seven grandchildren, Kristina and Benjamin Cromwell, Travis Shotts, Christopher, Nicholas and Kaitlyn Millard and Adam Dixon; two brothers, Richard Jones and Russell (Carie) Runyon; a special cousin Kay Hogue and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; her stepfather, Lewis E. Runyon; her aunt Norma Fabian; and uncles, Charles and Floyd Wooley, Jr; and her maternal grandparents Floyd and Irene Wooley.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at 7:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home and Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, OH 45424 with Pastor Micah Perry officiating. A visitation will be held prior to the service at the funeral home from 5:00 - 7:00 pm. Burial will be held on Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at 2:30 pm at Wesley Chapel Cemetery, Winchester, OH (north of Winchester on 136).
